You can buy a printer switch box to hook up 2 printers. speak from my past exp, there may be problem when you hook up
one laser one Inkjet, also, different brand can make thing hard too. I was trying to hook up a Canon LBP 660 and a Canon
Inkjet (forgot the model) one a customer's computer with switch box (as he asked), what I found out was the laser
printer "disabled" his brother (Canon Ink). whatever I tried to print from Canon Ink, the computer always returned "port
error, LPT1 is already in use".
I asked Canon Tech and they replied with "they don't work together" unless I have 2 LPT port.
