I have a Pentium 166 MMX with 32MB RAM, and I would like to upgrade the RAM to 64MB. I don't have any experience of working with the motherboard, and all I know about the one in my computer is that it's supposed to be a TX with 32MB EDO. Is that enough info to get additional RAM? Are there different kinds of RAM? Is there any way of getting more info about the motherboard?
I'm getting confused reading about SIMMS, DIMMS, EDO, etc. Any explanations would be appreciated.
TIA,
David
