The one comment that comes to mind about differential treatment was when
i first started gaining weight.  My Dr would say,  well exercise and eat
right and you wont gain. Then friends started in on me,  you need to keep
exercising and eating right.  Well, I have almost always ate properly and
exercise on a very regular basis.  Why did i gain weight? Thyroid
problems.  70 pounds in 6 months to be exact.   Now after 5 years of Dr
screwing with my thyroid, I said ENOUGH.  And i found this wonderful book
called NeanderThin.  i still have thyroid problems and probably always
will, Graves Disease has no cure, but it can go into remission at any
time.  Going from thin and athletic to fat and athletic, yes, you do get
treated different. But not by the ones who love me.  Everyday my husband
tells me how beautiful I am.  Your body fat will not be forever.  One
needs to pick themselves up, and start healing yourself.  Even if I
didn't lose weight on NeanderThin, I'd stick with it because of how i
feel every day now.  Although i have lost 14 pounds, I just think of it
as an added bonus.  I myself was not offended by Kendra's comment of fat
people being painful to look at.  I think perhaps she had a different
meaning and she was misunderstood.   I still say ideal body weight and
health is beautiful and if her ideal body weight is 115,  then that needs
to be her goal.  One cant be mad because she weighs less.  Thats just
silly.  My goal weight is 150, and at 150 i wear a size 6  =o]  I would
be a walking skeleton if i weighed 115.  and Kendra would be huge if she
was at my goal weight.  Everyone is different and we can not judge our
selfs by the scale.  Infact, i only weigh in once every 2 weeks.
However, i measure myself every week.  i have lost more inches than i
have weight.  I have lost 14 pounds, but lost 21 inches from all over.
ok, I'm done rambling, but for those who are on this way of life for
weight, please try measuring yourself and see your progress that way.
