Dennis,

I'd suggest you contact Tod Rice in Little Rock. He and a partner have been
instrumental in redeveloping several historic properties in downtown LR.
Their first project, the Kramer School, saved a notable elementary school
building which was the focus of a heated race to see whether benign neglect
or the bulldozer would have its way with the structure. I can have more
info for you shortly.

Subject: Creative Financing for Residential units downtwon

I am interested in knowing if anyone has any information regarding
grants, city cooperation, federal programs, etc which encourage the
location of residential units downtown. I am looking for creative ways
to work out the financing. A project which I am working on is just
short of working and the developer will change the project to office if
I cannot find a way to make up the difference.

Thanks
