We have a small peer to peer network setup via a 10baseT hub. After the
Compaq's are left overnight they will occasionally not see the network.

We have tried leaving them on, off, in sleep mode, rebooting one and/or both
in the morning but still get sporadic drops on one sometimes both machines.
When they do drop it takes 2-3 reboots before they will see the network
again and then we have to reset the shares.

I'm thinking maybe BIOS IRQ conflicts but not sure how to confirm or fix.

Any ideas?

Thanks
John

Setup as follows:
Compaq Presario(?) AMD k6-2  450/100mhz  64meg ram
Win98
unknown device on IRQ 3 (Modem?)
Netgear FA310tx PCI on IRQ 10
Client for MS Networks, MS Family Logon, Dialup adapter
Netbeui ->Netgear,  TCP/IP ->Dialup
