Replace it.
Chances are its on its way out and its better not to risk letting it go out
as you might not be aware of it when it happens.

Could anyone suggest a way of quieting a noisy fan. The fan in the rear of
my mini-tower case is beginning to make a steady drone, which gets louder
and louder each day. If I give the case a smack, it quiets down, but then
after a few seconds it starts again.
