I have recently purchased a Canon BJC-1000 Printer. It worked great with my Windows 98 Operating system. A few days later it would not work. I called technical support and their advise was: 1) try a new IEEE 1248 cable, ehich I did, 2) reinstall the drivers, which I did, 3) change the LPT1: Printer mode in my BIOS setup, which I did, and 4)test to make shure the printer works, which I did. I was wondering if anyone knows why this would occur, when i go to print, a mesage appears: Failed to print try the following: reinstall drivers, check connection, make shure printer is powered onand online. I did all of this and haven't found a solution. PLease let me know what I should do next and ANY suggestions, I am completely open!
Thanks for your time,
Tommy Holmes III
