Thanx a lot, Alan, The Startup Cop is an excellent utility. It solved the problem.

I downloaded the "Startup Cop" from ZDNet. It's freeware and
shows you everything that starts at bootup and where it starts
from. It allows you to 'temporarilly' disable the offending app
or permanently eliminate it from your startup. A v-e-r-y nice
little utility.
