I've used these add-in ports several times (have two installed now on two
different machines). What I have to do is manually change the driver in
Device Manager-Ports-Drivers-Change Driver to the ECP (or EPP) driver. The
default for Windows in many cases is to set the port to Standard driver
which seems to have problems with bidirectional communications to some
devices.
