, During the highchair years my sons loved chewing
> on elk bones w/just a bit of the meat still on the bones. ]
it remind me the story . of a 55 years half native man that i met in a
"primitive lifeskill gathering".
When he learned that i was eating raw meat, he wanted to share a story of
his babyhood that his mother reported to him. HE was on the back of his
mother walking back from gathering, and she had on her shoulder a snake,
once she arrived home she realised that half the snake have been eaten by
his son during the trip... .
He was emotional when telling me that because he was realising that he knew
as a baby what was right for him to do and he forgotted it when he learned
the good manners of eating his meat cooked.
