Many of you have E-mailed me about your feelings about the new
sculpture to be added to the FDR Memorial. Some of you have
really liked my idea of FDR'S personally designed wheelchair by
itself, where men, women and children, disabled and nondisabled
could sit in it. Others have said, no. We need to see FDR in
that wheelchair. Someone said have the wheelchair with FDR
standing beside it. But my question is have you written to the
Memorial folks to tell them your feelings? You must! Again, I
am not sure if the design has been commissioned yet. I don't
think it has. So why not snail or E-mail your ideas on the new
sculpture to:

National Capital Park-Central
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
900 Ohio Street, S.W.
Washington, DC 20242
