Problem #1Constipation
Hi, Paul. Welcome. Until you get your diet figured out, you may want to
take some Vitamin C in the morning after breakfast. I know from my own
experience, also from having a dog and cat on a paleo diet, that vit. C will
relieve most animals' constipation. People often feed C to a dog up to the
point of diarrhea, then back down to an amount the animal can tolerate.
Recently, my mother had a real problem with const. on a trip to New Mexico -
diet change - and when she took vit. C the problem disappeared.
You may want to take 1000 mg in a readily available form for a few days and
see if that helps. I take C-Salts from Wholesale Nutrition in Calif.
1.800.325.2664 or http://www.nutri.com .
The price seems a little high and they recommend taking LARGE doses, but the
stuff lasts a long time if you take a more conservative amount.
K.
