This is really a problem of being deficient in minerals. If you
increase your
intake of raw animal foods (increased protein), your calcium levels
will be
depleted more rapidly. Likewise for sugary/starchy foods which
requires
sufficient minerals for assimilation. Both observations are true for
the SAD
as well (only to a much worse degree). The solution is to assimilate
raw
superfoods, primarily mineral-dense sea vegetables.

This is likely a result of raw veganism/vegetarianism which won't work
long
term for a super-majority of people.
