I had a TEAC 512E CD Drive which saw all CDs as Audio. A data CD wd show up
in W Explorer as an audio CD with one very small track ! After a while, this
wd happen even if i pressed SHIFT while inserting the CD.
Here also, Device Manager showed no problem.
I referred this to the TEAC web site, whose answer was that the drive wd
have to be sent in for repair.
Sorry, this is not very helpful.
