Some of these problems sound more like communications, scheduling, and
application issues rather than product performance issues. Take my comments
with a grain of salt, since I don't have any experience in construction and
contracting.
In reading the Pat Morrissey's story regarding the problematic application of
a product, one phrase strikes me. The contractor stressing timeliness of
'TOMORROW.' If the client waited two years for testing, why was 'tomorrow' so
important? It sounds to me like there are more issues here than a product
that has failed-- it sounds far more like a problem in communication and
expectation which escalated into compromise application of inappropriate
product.
