>My request for an interpreter was more basic than a suggestion to "name
names".

The interpretation I need is basic - that Larrey is behind one product and
Mike is behind another. Despite the fact that I'm a "list owner", it's
news
to me. This fact, obvious to some, adds a dimension to the discussion
otherwise lost on some of us not waist-deep in the trade. And the fact
that
you, Mike and Larrey, are "behind" different products does not devalue your
remarks in any way; but it does explain some of the body English, which is
otherwise somewhat mysterious, and becomes a sort of static.

There is an ancient Pakistani saying (involving discovering the physical
appearance of a telephone operator) covering this situation: unfortunately
I
don't remember what it is.

Names and associations:
        Mike Edison - Edison Coatings
Larrey Riddle - Cathedral Stone Products
Pat Morrissey - Conspec, a Cathedral Stone Rep
As far as I know, there is nobody on the list representing the "other" 2
manufacturers, so we'll just have to use our imaginations as to body
language and their physical appearance on the telephone.
