Thank you Lisa, I'm headed for their URL right now. Sounds like a good
match for my application.

Subject: Metal reroof
Cuz,
We've had good results on metal roofs with Masters Choice "Metal Reroof".
I've
also heard about a similar reroofing product being used on a failing slate
roof
at the Charlestown Navy Yard. I haven't seen it, but the Chief of
Maintenance
told me that it has performed well for ten years. We've also used TopCoat,
but
it doesn't seem to be available any more. The metal reroof looks like a
regular
paint job, it doesn't obscure detail or look "heavy", and it comes in a
number
or colors. We just used it on a greenhouse at Hampton Mansion in Towson,
MD. I
haven't checked the warranty information to see if it covers traffic damage
from
pheasants, hedgehogs, or coon dogs.

Subject: Re: metal shingles and elastomeric coatings
OK list, let the ACuz jsut jump in on this!! My standing seam porch roofs
(c1903 & 1930) are not in bad shape (one has a small leak) but need
recoating. They're only one story off the ground and I really don't want
that thick a coating on them until it becomes really necessary. Educate me
'bout other "lighter" solutions.
