Another alternative is to post a message saying you've got a certain
image available and then let anyone who's interested get in touch and
get it direct, off-list.
It ought to be possible to arrange things so that people who don't
want graphic attachments don't have to pay for them. It's a pain to
sit around while an attachment is downloading and find it's
irrelevant. You've just spent five minutes of Net access time on
something that goes right into the trash.
