Mary, Harris Ranch meat is pasture feed, except the last approximately
week
of the steers life.  Then it hangs out at a feed lot.  I will say that
although the steers are pasture feed, they are raised in the valley
near
Coalinga and there may be some supplementation of pasture diet during
the
dry summer months.

I believe the New Zealand Lamb that is available in health food stores
is
pasture feed.  I have also requested information from Webvan.com on
there
meat source.  If it is pasture, I'll let you know.
