More to come, but you should consider a few evenings at St.
Martin-in-the-Fields church at Picadilly. They have orchestral string
programs there through the summer in an acoustically near perfect-space. The
price for  general seating in the nave is 6 pounds, about 9 bucks, and you
can't beat the venue, by James Gibbs. Programs start at 7:30pm, and you can
but tickets in the crypt just prior to the performance. Outstanding.
