I was on synthroid for about 8 years.  The M.D. said my dose was a
small
one,  0.05mcg .  I would check on the dosage, maybe it's just a typo.

At the time I took synthroid, it was the right drug and the right
dose.
That small dose brought the "normal" back into my life.  I have since
studied alternative medicine, my thyroid tests are better now than
ever.  I am 42, and have been off synthroid for 5 years.  I used the
magnetic pulsar on the thyroid a couple years ago, you know, I really
think that did something.
