Have you checked in the printer settings if the memory
settings are OK ? Probably you should increase the amount of
memory for the printer. Also check if there isn't a cable
problem and the plugs can't loosen up easily from the
connections on both the computer as well as the computer.

Subject: [PCBUILD] HP printer problem

I have a Dell XPS D333 PC with Windows 98 with an HP DeskJet
694C printer
attached to it. My problem is with the printer.
Many times the printer would simply stop in the middle of
printing job. I
was told to save to printing job, turn the printer off and
restart the
printer. Sometimes this would work, but sometime same thing
happened again.

I have reinstall the printer software from the CD-ROM that
came with the
printer. I run the communication check which is fine. I then
tried to print
a test page. Only one and half line would appear and then
the printer
stopped.

TIA

Jung
