My only suggestion is try and try again. (I have hp820cse)
This morning I had only black and yellow. Could not "fix" old ink cartridge.
Put in a new cartridge, and had black and everything except yellow.
Primed twice and regained 50% of the height of the yellow test bar.
Priming the third time did the trick...  Your mileage may vary...
