Sounds like your lastdrive parameter is too small. In your config.sys
file look for a line that says:
LASTDRIVE=X (X may be any letter of the alphabet)
If you don't see it there add it in and give it a value like N, I often set
it to Z because my system is on a network. This setting tells DOS how much
internal space it should reserve for drive letters. Hope this helped, TTYL
