Some Wholefoods stores carry New Zealand beef in addition to lamb and
veal. Some only carry the lamb and veal. This is the best meat that I
have found in southern California. This is basically pastured meat
shipped by air unfrozen. It is leaner than I would prefer but The
producers think that Americans want low fat beef. Organic meat is from
animals that have been fed ORGANIC GRAIN instead of inorganic grain. The
best meat hasn't been fed ANY grain. If you can find any Wild Oats
stores, they hve good meat also but it is finished on grain. There may
be other sources that are ok but these I am sure of.
