The biggest job is getting the meat out of the coconut.  Use a hammer and
screwdriver.  Pound the screwdriver into two of the eyes, and pour out
the liquid.  Then pound the coconut with the hammer until it breaks apart.
Pound the pieces until you get some smaller pieces.  Use the screwdriver
to pry the meat out of the shell.  Then take a sharp knife and trim off the
dark skin.

For the coconut "milk", throw pieces of coconut into a blender with
some water.  Start with enough water to grind up well, add water until
it is a somewhat milklike consistency.  The coconut meat should be ground
up pretty finely.  You can then strain it or use as it.
