"Jnugle gyms" we can live with, but CEMENT pads????????

I thought we were a scholarly group discussing technical subjects in a
professional manner (except for bullshitting, horsing around, wasting time,
amusing ourselves, pissing off our friends, etc.)

It ain't cement, gosh darn it all to heck, it's concrete. Just like you
don't call bread "flour."

And what kind of meters do these socialistic foreigners use to determine how
far their blonde-haired offspring can fall, given that they can't sue anybody
and get free hospitalization? Ohmmeters, nanometers, barometers? As my
specwriting teacher used to say, 'If you're going to be specific, be
specific!" He was also the one who wrote--regularly-- to the newspaper
editor to complain about references to "cement" trucks. But I stayed awake
in his class, which is more than I can say for Norman (sorry, Norman) and
Theo.
