Sharpshooter,

Grandkid's b-day & his parents are dedicated veggans. I was on an ice run by
myself and though I contemplated stopping for the road kill, you know, show
off a few squirrel tails at the kid's party, decided it was not PC. Their
neighbors are not veggans so it was interesting hearing about the turkey
vultures, coyote & fox in the Hudson Valley. No stories about turkey vultures
as road kill.

One of them is a driver for UBS, the scaffold company doing the Washington
Monument, as well as connected to the scaffold dropped on 42nd Street a while
back. Our mutual conjecture was that a subcontractor probably removed a brace.

Loved your NY Times article this last Sunday.
