I do not know about the Acer4432A but I currently use the 2X2X4 Acer rewriter
(I don't know what the model # is) and it has been very reliable for the 8
months or so that I have had it. I would be hesitant to run it on a slower
machine because it seems as though my system (a PIII 500) keeps pretty busy
while burning a disk. It writes data to the HD then copies it to the burner I
don't know if a P90 could keep up. If I copy information from one cd to
another, my harddrive, CD ROM and CDR. all go at the same time.
