First make a Win98 startup disk. It's under Add/Remove programs. At this
point I like to save any data I will need and then reformat the hard drive.
Boot to the startup disk and allow it to install your CD-ROM drivers.
Sometime during the install, Win98 will ask you to insert your previous
version Windows CD or diskette(s). Doing so will satisfy Win98's need to
know if you really have a legitimate upgrade.
