Hi guys,

I just address a strange problem, I hope someone else will save some
time if see the same problem again.

I built a computer with a CD-R/RW (IDE) and Creative DVD kit. Everything
was fine but soon (after it was running for 24hours), I found that when
I insert any CD into DVD drive, the computer will reboot without any
error message. I worked around, after I removed Norton, I started to see
a blue screen after a CD is put into DVD drive, then samething happen.
However, the DVD was fine under DOS and the CD-R/RW doesn't have any
problem.

After all, I gave up and reformatted HDD, reload everything ..., same
problem agian.

Finaly, I addressed the problem, it was the Adaptech DirectCD 2.5b which
come with CD-R/RW, as soon as I removed Adaptech program, everything
back to work. I already knew that Adaptech software is pice of sh~t, but
never knew it is that bad.

I hope anyone else won't run in same trouble ever again, and for me, I
will never ever touch DirectCD.
