i feel like a fool, a local radio/tv consumer advocate named furby as "going
to be the hot toy" back in sept. i just though, my kid id too old for that.
now, if i had though in a mercenay way (instead of just thinking "my kids
are too old for that") i could have bought up a few of these and paid for a
christmas vacation. i saw over 400 of these suckers sell on the day after
thanksgiving on one net auction site. and i did not watch all day. average
selling price probably $125. high $187 lowest $97.
i could have bought in september for about $30. oh, well, a business man i
am not i guess.

this is 2 days after i got back on. after finally getting in a days work,
got home and benjamin had lost a filling. called the dentist. his
receptionist has the compassion of a rock. "we can get you in at 10:20, i
need to come in after work about 3:30 - 4:00, well that will make it on jan
6, but, it could decay. i want to get him in but, i have just got back to
work after being out 6 weeks. well make up you mind, you want 10:20 tomarrow
or 4:00 on jan 6?" so i missed the next day too. add insult to injury, got
home from physical theropy later on and the new filling had fell out. now my
wife was home when this happened and called the dentist. the receptionist
started the routine, judy said quite firmly," we are missing no more work.
the earliest we can get him there is 4:00 and you will work with us on
this." the receptionist says " oh, i'll put you down for 4:15."
sorry this has been so long.
