Regarding these talks about weather protection and winter wrapping (is it
proper to say "winter enwrapture"?) what is your take on putting plastic
"bubbles" over buildings that are in the midst of renovation? I'm referring
to the framed domes (heavy gauge plastic can be clear, white - maybe purple
for all I know) that are used as greenhouses, garages etc. I know the State
of CT are going to use some over their sandpiles (for winter road use)
dotting the highway system here. They can be sized to accommodate the
structure being worked on, then taken down and reused on another if the size
works. I'm thinking residential sized structures (capes, saltboxes etc).
They could be heated or flaps opened up in hotter weather.
Any BPers use this system? Is it economical and what's it like inside? Is it
worthwhile?
