The Real Estate Record & Guide, July 22, 1911 describes some model tenements
designed by Andrew J. Thomas, on the west side of Decatur Avenue, north of
Fordham Road.

"The design is early English, carried out in Hudson River rain-washed brick
and white marble. The brickwork is being done by English workmen in the
English manner."
