The welcome mat is always out at Fort Selkirk, unless the river is frozen
that is. In the later part of the summer, the work crew and their families
set up nets to catch and smoke salmon, which could be the basis for a very
nice pignic. Nearby is Canada's northernmost cattle ranch and market garden,
which could provide the rest of the goodies. The beef they sell there
(usually by the quarter) is organic, and the cows supplement their diet with
willow, which gives a unique tang to the meat. This is the only beef I know
of that cures headaches. Rhubarb still flourishes wild at Fort Selkirk 60
years after cultivation stopped, and you can gorge on wild raspberries. So,
the comestibles are readily available; all we need is the bodies.

Can vouch for the ease of viewing the graphics (still via
the corporate pipe).
Of course, I was already a member of PIGHABIT-L. But it was
quite quick.
Think I could quite enjoy a BP pignic at Fort Selkirk ... is
this an option for the future?
Cheers
