If you go to Chichester Cathedral, and you're feeling kinda romantic, take
a look at the tomb of Richard Fitzalan, the 13th Earl of Arundel. He and
his second wife, Eleanor, died in (I think) 1375. Their reclining figures,
carved on top of their tomb, are depicted holding hands -- a hint of the
fact that romantic love was alive and well all those years ago.
