I have a Compaq Presario with Windows 95, 1.2 gig h/drive and 16mb ram.

My hard drive packed it in last week so I replaced it with an 8 gig hard
drive. I used EZ Drive to setup the hard drive and all went ok. But now when
I start the machine I get "1790 - disk 0 error - F1 to boot" showing. When I
hit F1 it starts just fine.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the 1790 error showing and what may be
causing it?

Thank you,

Michael Murray
