Hey, my grandmother "did" (my term, not hers) snuff, and carried an extra can
around with her to get rid of the juice too. My mother keeps (or at least
kept) a can on the (city gas) stove for leftover bacon grease; I don't know
whether this was a leftover from depression childhood, farmgirl childhood, or
WWII recycling. Guess I could ask, since she's visiting with us just now,
but I'm not sure I want a 3 hour soliloquy, delivered at 3.5 words/minute.
