Bruce:

I know you did not request observations and options HOWEVER it just struck me
that what we see here appears to be the typical result of the seven year cycle
of tectonic plate movement activity. You see, the earth wobbles on its axis.
This wobble varies from 0 to 32 feet off axis and back over a seven year period.
During the extremes of this wobble, volcanic and earthquake activity are at
elevated levels. This movement of the earth can cause shifting of foundations
and other more extreme events such as building collapse or maybe lava
encapsulation. I believe the image you supplied helps rule out the concern for
the lava encapsulation possibilities at the current time. This image brings into
focus that we need to think about tectonic plate stabilization and preservation
before we loss all of our built environment in places like California, Japan,
Turkey, etc. Maybe BP can form an additional sub-committee besides the Sidewalk
Preservation Task Force.

Any Volunteers?

Bryan
