Greetings,

I'm trying to install NT4. I noticed that it was extremely slow copying
files if I do it in DOS while it was much faster in Win95. (It took over 30
minutes under DOS and probably less than 10 munites under Windows.) It
didn't work in Win95 and somehow it booted right back Win95 after it
finished copying all files to a temporary folder in C drive. I kind of
remember the slow speed relating smart drive or something not installed in
DOS. How can I make the copy faster during the installation process (I boot
the system with Win95 startup disk)?

BTW, I used to hate that I had to create 3 setup disks everytime I install
WinNT. I found I can add /x ("winnt /x") to skip that process... Also
"setup /is" to skip check disks for install win98....

Thanks,

Changhsu Liu
