Here they don't do that with salmon and the Scandinavian fish they
use. The fish has been caught the same morning it is eaten. I have
never worried about eating raw fish and ate it often during my
pregnancy.

Anyway thanks for all the info on fish, but I guess I was not clear
enough in my question - when I asked about any sauces for raw meat, I
meant raw RED meat (i.e. beef, lamb, moose etc) and wondered if anyone
had any experience or anecdotes concerning the "cleansing effect"
these might have...
