I had the same problem last week. Apparently, many AGP cards are picky about
being in their slots right. Take both cards out and insert the Viper back in
securely, and tighten it tightly with the screw. If it still makes those
beeps, take it out and try again. The card really has to be in perfectly to
work. Also, let me know how the Viper treats you, as I am interested in
getting one as well. Good luck.
