Of course that comparison goes betwees veggie and SAD women.
I found it interesting that animal fats
(and that explicitely includes the most used dairy fats)
can increase estrogen (female sex hormone) levels (aaaagh!).
The other dopamine and serotonin promoting interest me
still more.

Colon cancer rates through animals are still a very disputed issue.
Evolutionary, some percent getting cancer after 40 years of age
won't make a big difference for the survival and genetic success
of a group.
Up to Neanderthals, the age of 40 seems to have been really old.
Only since Cro-Magnon upcome 40k-60k years ago logevity may have
increased to about 60 years. And this "knowledge database"
of the old ones (grandmothers and fathers)
is regarded as a main evolutionary advantage over neanderthals
after the ability to speak (language)
(from Jared Diamonds book).

The colon: in my personal view a healthy symbiont bacteria
may be the key point to health, by avioding dangerous
substances to emerge.
This is promoted by a very rich *fiber* supply in the food,
which should be granted by a true paleo-emolating diet.

Your distant anchestors had plenty of fat?
Wild game animals have, according to Loren Cordaines study,
only between 2-8 % of fat (average 4% fat),the fatty brain included.
1kg meat-> has 1500 kcal, the accompanied
40g fat -> have annother 350 kcal.
I can see only about 25% fat calories in a wild game only nutrition.
Really fatty are the domesticated livestock (pig.. chicken..).
So most of the calories in an ice age winter may have come
from masses of protein (from the lean meat)
converted to carbs by the body.
In the time of ice shields (in certain worlds parts at certain times)
animals may have been fatter. Like inuit eat.
The other paleo food rich in fat are nuts.
BTW, i just looked up oysters (aquatic theory).
They are very low in fat (0.7+0.3+0.9 g of fat per 100g).

regards
Amadeus
