The Atkins 'induction' phase is under 20 g of carbs. However, when the 2
week induction is up, you slowly add carbs by 5 g increments until you stop
losing weight or even gain some (a number that varies individually). That
partcular point is what he calls the CCL (Critical Carb Level).
I would think that low-carb means anywhere below your personal CCL.
Or anywhere between where you don't lose weight but dont gain any, if you're
not looking to drop weight.
