More exactly:
First, "one empire" -- a good idea? As a linguist you should know what goes into
that word empire. What good does it stand for? A model for Europe?

Secondly, "one will" with a new "triumph des Willens"?? The very idea underlying
such thinking is outright disgusting. Who the hell is going to tell us just
_who's_ will to follow in that case?

Finally, "one mind" .. For heavens sake, let's keep Europe maximally
pluralistic, which indeed is the best insurance aginst another round of
opression and limitations of free speach, i. e. against democracy.

I concur with you on your antifascist stance but not without simultaneously say
a resolute no to all other forms of anti-democratic -isms such as
communism/socialism, nationalism, fundamentalisms etc.

I dislike thoroughly your triplet of call-fors: a European empire, one European
mind, one will.
Never ever more such attempts.
