A good example of automation is in agriculture.  Two hundred years ago
most people were employed in agriculture and lived in rural areas.
Nowadays, in this country, five percent of the population is producing
enough food to feed the rest mostly through use of machinery like combines
and harvesters that allow one operator to do the work that used to require
dozens.
