<< Why does he/she/it allow people to come down
with diseases when eating certain foods?<<
 Is he/she/it  **allowing** us to get sick or, since
we have a choice in what we put into our mouths, are
**we** making ourselves sick?  Why does a higher being
**allow** anything bad to happen?  This sounds as if
this higher being is punishing us for not doing what
we are **supposed** to.



<<Or better yet...why not the diet that existed at the
time he last came to visit?  His son ate those foods,
would he have come down with the diseases of the
Egyptians or Jews?<<
Since he was the son of g*d, wouldn't he have been
able to prevent himself from getting these diseases,
or at least have a father that wouldn't let him get
them?  This is like the question - "If g*d is all
powerful, can he create a rock so big that not even he
can pick it up?"  Simplistic, I know, but it is only
to make a point.
