You make a good point. I think that whole raw foods are probably
considerably more self-limiting than their cooked and seasoned
counterparts. But that is a different kind of paleo diet.
Neanderthin is not a raw unseasonsed foods diet, and it does not
have much to say about overeating as a cause of obesity. Like
you, I don't imagine I could gain weight eating raw chicken, but
a platter of broiled and seasoned chicken wings do indeed call to
me, just like that leftover pizza. And I can eat a lot of them.
According to Neanderthin I shouldn't have to be concerned about
such things, but the truth is I do.
