When I was recently there, visiting all the way from NY, following in Larry's
path, the restoration team showed us picture boards of a late 50's plans to
turn the place into a convenience shopping mall. The developer (Brennan?) is
now building a mall out near our neighborhood in LI from a former horse
track. As to incarceration, been there done that, a few times, no thanks.
