I recently purchased an E-Tech PC56RVP-2 isa 56k modem, non hst. It wasn't
flashed to v.90 when I got it, but it would connect to my isp fine. After
flashing it to V.90, I get maybe 1 connect out of 5 or 6 connects.
I went to www.e-tech.com and downloaded the drivers and flasher there,
re-flashed the modem, installed drivers for it, and the problem still
persists. In the course of all of this, I lost the failsafe backup (the one
that connected fine) so I can't fallback on that.
I think ifI can find out the AT command to disable v.90 and just use v.34, I
should be fine, but AT*MM commands don't work. (Those commands were what
worked with my last modem.)
Does anyone have a link to a list of AT commands for hayes compatibles, or
suggestions on an init string?
